Carmarthenshire Council commissioned a review of its strategic actions and priorities to develop an Economic Recovery Plan in the context of widespread declining town centre economies and the impact of COVID-19. The resultant economic recovery masterplan required a comprehensive review of existing strategies and plans and extensive engagement with stakeholders to re-prioritise the key issues and opportunities, provide a focus on future delivery to ensure continuity of business within the town centres, and help to unlock of funding opportunities.
