Design lead for a mixed-use masterplan for a 200-ha former plantation and quarry site near Thika, Kenya. The development proposals included a new mixed-produce market with associated retail, leisure, office and residential development as well as a new innovation park and Special Enterprise Zone. 

This multidisciplinary project required innovative design solutions for site remediation and profiling issues, strategies for highways and green infrastructure together with extensive security and customs measures.
